I was wondering about something. I notice in your articles that you generally only put one keyword - whereas you can put multiple separated by commas. Is there a reason why you do this? Is there more weight given to that one keyword versus spreading it out??
Most people don’t realize it…very few actually. But those keywords are really only used for hints for EZA’s Google Adsense code so their ads show up more targeted. They do nothing for your search engine rankings with your article. (thats something you know now…but 85% of the people on EZA don’t and will put their hard worked on keyword research out in the open for the world to see easily)
(Exactly something Jeremy showed people back in “Step By Step Niche Profits”)
Some older search engines will lay weight on the meta keywords but they are really old and won’t really have any bearing on your rankings in Google, Yahoo, MSN.
Keyword meta tag is also considered valid format and structure by w3c…
Jenny, it really just depends on the strength of your competition…
Anyone that tells you that they can pin point “exactly” what it takes is a liar and you should run away from them as fast as you can
I’ve built 5 links to an article and had it on the first page where others it has taken 50 or 100.
Sorry that I could not be more precise in my answer
Jeremy
What is your experience with Clickbank statistics? Are they updated realtime? I sent over 300 hops since Friday to a highly converting product (direct link) - with only 2 sales (which were as a result of a couple of articles submitted Thursday - which gave minimal traffic but great conversion). Have you ever seen a lag between when the hops statistics show up versus product sales?
They definitely are NOT REAL TIME. There has always been a bit of a lag, but here lately the lag has been 2 days or more sometimes for the actual hops to show up.
Right now, I have a couple of sales showing up where the hops have not even registered yet and this was 2 days ago!
The good news is, the sales are still adding up and showing in your totals, but it is very hard right now to rely on their hops for statistical purposes.
If for some reason you need to update an article in ezine articles. Once the article is re-submitted and re-approved, will it show up in the ‘most recent’ list?
Hmmm - too late. I did this today to an article that got a decent amount of views over the weekend. I will be anxious to see if it retains the ‘view count’ when it gets republished.
No, we still have a couple of days left…I want to wrap everything up and show you guys what I have decided to do with the niche…go over conversion ratio and all of that kind of good stuff.

How many backlinks per article per day do your outsourcers do as some “experts” say you should only do a couple per day to make it look “natural”.
How many links and how long does it take you to get on the first page of Google on average?

Another question (hope I haven’t used my quota!)…

Kathy,
If you edit it — It’s been my experience that it does not go back on the list…
Not only that, but if you are on either the most viewed or most published you will not go back on those lists either.
If at all possible, I wouldn’t edit an article, maybe just think about writing another fresh version of it

Kathy, it will retain the “view count” so, no worries there

How did you find out/what did you use to see how many links that search result had and exactly what links they were towards the end of the video?
