You guys rock. I have learned more from these two boot camps so far than any ebook could teach. I hope you guys leave this stuff from both site up for a while. Cause I am still learning
We will be leaving it up for quite a while I think, but I still want people to ask questions about things that maybe they just don’t understand or even something that we have gone over that isn’t working the same way in their own campaigns.
Don and I know that our success is going to be guaged on the success of the people that we work with and who do business with us so, we will pretty much do what is necessary to ensure that we deliver
Razor, It looks like you are having the same issue/results that I’ve had with weight loss niche in the past.
I to this day still sell some copies of fatloss4idiots based on some things I did with it about 8 months ago, but the conversion rate on it is about 1:170 . So, I have to get about 170 people to the sales page before a sale occurs.
If you want to be involved in that niche just keep submitting and building links and the traffic will become more steady and the sales will start adding up.
I don’t think this has been asked before. What I am curious is whether you really need to create websites or to just use squidoo. I am starting to think that squidoo is just as good as creating a website, except it is a lot less hassle. And I think a squdoo page can be promoted just as well as a website. Your thoughts?
This will be an unpopular answer to some people, but I agree with you.
Squidoo always worked just fine for me in the past. As a matter of fact, I never used a “real website” before Don and I started working together.
The only downside of squidoo is that they are kind of “busy” and do give your visitor a ton of opportunities to leave to different places, but I was always able to overcome that by making sure that my links were visible and by using them often
This has been bugging me a little. Article marketing is a way to make money. My concern is that I was always told to spread risk by not working in one market.
If EzineArticles should ever close there are going to be a lot of people ruined. What other Article directories would you use to add articles also to get the most bang for the buck and lower risk? GoArticles? I hear good and bad about them. Any others you recommend?
Those are all other directories that I will use from time to time. They kind of suck though because it isn’t very often that you can get a decent ranking with them so, I mostly use them for backlinks to other articles…
The other directory that I use frequently is a paid directory http://www.website-articles.net and I get some decent rankings with it, but because it is a paid site, I don’t bring it up often… Don’t want people to think that I’m pitching a bunch of products to them after they have already bought something from me.

I understand what you are saying about spreading risk, because there is risk in just about eveything, but…
While I do give a good amount of my content to EZA, I also use the backlinks to build up the search engine position of a lot of my own sites. Ultimately, I want my own property with a good ranking, but the fast traffic and sales that you can get from EZA allows you to keep money flowing to your pocket while you make that happen, make sense?

Hi Jeremy,
I have submitted 10 articles to Eza in the weight loss category. As of today, I have the following stats for all 10 articles:
Total views: 336
Total URL clicks: 70
Five of the articles went live on Jan 30, five on February 2.
The top article has a total view of 147, with URL clicks of 41. The lowest article in the list has 3 views and 0 URL clicks.
And no conversion whatsoever.
What’s your general opinion on the articles’ performance? Is there any potential for me to keep going?
How many views and URL clicks should I look for before I decide that this is something not worth my time and effort?
Is it worth for me to focus time and energy on the one article that’s having the highest performance stats?
I’d greatly appreciate any thoughts you could share with me on this.
Thanks a lot!

Have you ever worried about this?
